Wise Crash Repairs – Established 1979
Alan Wise, after completing his panel beating apprenticeship at Schubert Crash Repairs, founded Wise Crash Repairs in 1979. The business has been conducted at the same premises on the corner of Wyreema Street and Noel Street, Murray Bridge, since that time.
Over the years, many apprentices have had the opportunity to learn their trade at Wise Crash Repairs, with a number of them still with the company. We take pride in having many loyal, long term emloyees, including panel beaters, spray painters and office staff with an average of 15 years’ service.
Alan’s son Trevor began a spray painting apprenticeship 20 years ago and is now involved in the administration and management side of the business. Trevor also serves on the board of Car Craft, an industry group consisting of national quality repairers.
Now one of the largest crash repair shops in the Murraylands district, the size of the premises has grown. Many changes have taken place over the years, including expansion of the panel shop (including a building dedicated to heavy chassis repairs), extension of the prep bay area, and the installation of 3 spray booths with a connecting paint mixing room. The office and customer waiting area has also been upgraded and now includes space for 4 administration staff.
The team at Wise Crash Repairs also undertake regular training through i-Car and Car Craft courses, and take pride in keeping up with the increasingly technical advances which are taking place with modern motor vehicles.
